Young Dragon

I was impressed with Anne McCaffrey's series Dragon Riders  of Pern when I read it during the early 1980's. The young  (and older) dragons spoke to my heart, and I couldn't resist  trying to capture an image of one in my mind, and then on paper.

If I pay homage to it, will it do the work for me?
 Probably not.
 But it's still a beautiful piece of sculpture.
